Only I would be sent the most stylish and vibrant Scottish homeware and proceed to take it on a mermaid journey to the bottom of Loch Ness. I’m glad that Clare received this well, it could have gone either way. I’m also glad that Nessie received it well as it was touch and go for a while. Clare Baird Giftware is a plethora of classy, gentle and homely Scottish gifts. The Aye Life is a classy (somewhat), gentle (sometimes) and homely place (all the time), so this was a match made in Scottish heaven.
Highland Coos and Scottish Floo’ers
Clare’s style is my ultimate mantra in life. Us Scottish folk don’t half milk the culture do we? For good reason though, it’s just so darn purty ma’am. I spent most of lockdown covering my hoose in Hielan coos, thistles and landscapes from some of my favourite places in Scotland. When lockdown lifted, I was straight down the restoration yards for sets of antlers and just about anything else with a stag on it. Good thing it wasn’t too deer… sorry not sorry.
There is something so homely and comforting about Autumn and Winter. Cosy tartans, roaring stags, proud pheasants and hairy highland cows. Clare’s gifts are cosy and very “contemporary Scottish hunting lodge come Highland home.”
Home in the Highlands
Our ultimate dream is to create a cosy, albeit eccentric home in the Highlands, to match our wildly silly lifestyle, and Clare Baird’s lovely gifts are just perfect. I’m going to use them in our home but they will definitely be a daily reminder of my longer-term Highland goals, and for that I’m thankful.
With love from Scotland
I know a lot of folks who are missing Scotland at the moment, be it through a cancelled aye-venture or a longing for home, check Clare Baird Giftware for Scottish art and gift inspiration. And remember, gifting starts at home.
