A Foodie Hamper at Sunset in Van Heilan: Gift Hampers UK

We were sitting by Cruden Bay beach on the North East coast, the sun was setting over the hills, and the sound of hundreds of seabirds was ringing above the crashing waves. The sun was setting in its majestic Autumnal glory. We had the wood-burner on in our custom-built van, Van Heilan, and fairy lights broke the dimming dusk. Whilst we watched the sunset, we nibbled away at outrageously tasty Belgian chocolate popcorn, sipped breakfast tea steeped from teabags that came in pyramid-shaped boxes, and eyed up some cheese and crackers. What a place to crack open our UK Gift Hamper. What a time to be alive, and what memories. Hampers should be enjoyed in coorie moments.

Hampers as gifts are so much more fun because you don’t know what you’re going to get. I’ve made multiple hampers for my better half over the years. Her face lights up. A gift box, crammed full of stuff you can’t wait to enjoy, you just didn’t know it. The fun of cutting the ribbon, sliding open the box, and finding even more boxes, pouches, packets and jars, full of culinary delights, is a joy.

Hampers are always full of food from brands that you just don’t see running up and down the aisles at Tesco or ASDA. And that’s the beauty of them. You slowly crack open the packets and jars one by one, usually always saying “this is nice, what is it?” A box of surprises just can’t be beaten.

Gift Hampers UK

We were sent the Cranswick Gift Hamper from gifthampersuk.co.uk to try out. They have a fantastic selection of hampers and boxes that would suit anyone and everyone’s tastes.

The box we were sent was filled with the following; a bottle of Cranswick Shiraz, a Love Cocoa Maldon sea salt chocolate bar, Ace Tea London chocolate chip biscuits, a box of Dean’s extra mature cheddar & cracked black pepper bites, a packet of Cambrook Cocktail Hour nuts, a pouch of Joe & Seph’s Belgian chocolate popcorn and 2 Pyramid box teabags.

I had never heard of any of these brands, but I walked away a fan of nearly all of them.

Take the hassle out of Christmas shopping this year and get your loved ones a mystery box filled with goodies from Gift Hampers UK.
